Rahul is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience across hotel operations, sales, and strategic business development. A graduate of Monarch International College of Hotel Management, Ooty, he has held pivotal roles with esteemed brands such as ITC Hotels, Toshali Hotels, Shillonbagh Kufri Holiday Resort, Larisa Hotels & Resorts, and Resort De Coração.
Throughout his career, Rahul has demonstrated a deep command of hotel operations and revenue optimization, managing cross-functional teams across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest services to ensure operational efficiency and elevated guest experiences. His background also includes building and scaling high-performing commercial teams across Direct Sales, Corporate Bookings, MICE, and Leisure segments.
In 2023, Rahul established his own venture in the hospitality space, overseeing full-service operational management of boutique properties in high-footfall destinations like Shimla, Manali, Nainital and Sariska. His role encompasses everything from property onboarding, SOP development, vendor and staff management, to budgeting, P&L oversight, and guest satisfaction.
Additionally, Rahul has played a key role in representing leading international Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in India. Leveraging his market insights and expansive industry network, he has facilitated strategic alliances, expanded market presence, and driven inbound business development for global travel brands entering or growing in the Indian market.
Rahul brings a rare blend of operational acumen, commercial strategy, and entrepreneurial agility — making him a trusted partner for hospitality businesses seeking growth, optimization, and sustainable value creation.
With over 15 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, He began his journey after graduating from IHM Chennai. He has grown from a Sales Executive to Sales Head, working with renowned brands such as Club Mahindra, Kufri Holiday Resort (Shimla), Larisa Hotels & Resorts, Resort De Coração, and Royal Orchid Hotels. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing sales and marketing teams across all major segments — including Direct Sales, Online Travel Agencies (OTA), Travel Agents (TA), Corporate Bookings, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and Group Business.
Chandan’s core strengths lie in driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning, targeted marketing campaigns, and strong relationship management. He has successfully launched and scaled sales operations across various regions, improved market share, and developed key partnerships in both domestic and international markets.
